No Worship Service Tomorrow!

Posted by Tanner Turley on

Friends:

I hope everyone has had a good week and is bracing for the storm. After watching the forecast for the past couple of days and consulting with others, we feel like it is wise to cancel our service for tomorrow. The potential for heavy wind and heavy rain may make it dangerous for many to make it to Springstep, not to mention there is a State of Emergency in MA and the MBTA is shut down tomorrow. We know how to handle snowstorms, but hurricanes are a whole different ball game in New England!

Here are some encouragements in lieu of worship tomorrow:

1) Like every other day, be prepared to glorify God through missional service. You may have neighbors, friends, or co-workers who need a helping hand. Be ready to serve.
2) Check our blog on the website or social media for a devotional blog that will address how the church is a community of gifted disciples. It will be posted tomorrow morning.
3) Take some extra time to pray for one another, our city, needs at RHC, and those in the path of the Irene. I'll post some prayer needs for our church on the blog tomorrow am.
4) Join us next Sunday at Springstep as we wrap up our "We are the Church Series" and bring some friends!

Let us know if you have any needs. There is much to be excited about as we move into the fall as a church. God is doing a great work! Let's continue expecting great things from him.

See you next week,

Tanner and the RHC Leadership Team
