Sunday P.R.E.P - March 22, 2015
Sunday P.R.E.P. is a weekly tool designed to enhance our Sunday gatherings at Redemption Hill. As we individually pray, reflect, expect and pursue, God will prepare us for his great work in our worship together.
PRAY
Ask God to reveal areas in your life where you are not walking according to His design, even the areas you feel are “impossible” to overcome. Pray the words of Psalm 139:23-24. Bow before the Father and ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called.
REFLECT
Reflect on our “In Christ” series thus far. Our identity is in Christ. We have every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. The Holy Spirit seals us. We were once walking in the ways of the world, BUT GOD in his mercy and grace saved us so that we would walk in His good works. The gospel unifies all people. Peace with God comes through the blood of Jesus. God entrusts his children with the gospel, therefore we should declare and display God’s love to all people. We should pray desperately for the Spirit to strengthen us and help us understand God’s limitless love. Nothing is impossible for our God.
EXPECT
In light of what we have already learned in Ephesians, expect God to challenge you to live in a manner which reflects these truths.
PURSUE
As we partake of the Lord’s Supper this Sunday, seek God and ask Him to prepare your heart. Pursue unity and peace with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Reconcile with anyone in the church that you are not at peace with. Also, continue to pursue the people that are on your “List” by praying, inviting, displaying, and declaring the gospel to them.
