Sunday P.R.E.P. is a weekly tool designed to enhance our Sunday gatherings at Redemption Hill. As we individually pray, reflect, expect and pursue, God will prepare us for his great work in our worship together. 

PRAY
Pray and ask God to enrich your love for His gospel, His church, and the lost world around us. Ask God to show you ways you can practically love your neighbors and church family this week. Is there someone to specifically pray for? To invite to church? To encourage this Sunday?

REFLECT
Take a moment and reflect on this quote from Milton Vincent’s Gospel Primer: “The Bible teaches that genuine love in my heart for God is generated by an awareness of His love for me, and nowhere is the love of God more clearly revealed than in the gospel.” (29)

• Have you taken a moment this week to preach the gospel to yourself?
• Reflect on the love of God revealed to us in the gospel.

EXPECT
A passionate love for Jesus and His gospel fuels our pursuit and worship of God. Let’s expect God to increase our love and passion for Jesus this Sunday during worship as we hear from Ephesians 3:14-21 

“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory, he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” 

PURSUE
Pursue God in prayer asking Him to lead Redemption Hill Church into a deeper knowledge and experience of God’s amazing love this coming Sunday.
