Summary: The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the climactic moment in the storyline of God's redemptive plan in the pages of the Bible. In John 18-19, we learn that Jesus accomplished his mission of redemption through his sacrificial death on the cross. Though he was rejected by men and suffered unjustly, it was all part of the promised plan of God as he voluntarily laid down his life for the redemption of sinful people. The cross truly changes everything.
