Summary: Before receiving the salvation offered to us through Christ, we were all disconnect from God and from one another. But through the death of Christ, we are able to be united to God and one another upon receiving salvation. We who have been saved should now pursue unity and peace with everyone in the church because the death of Christ turns outsiders into members of the family God.
